Wi-38 human diploid cell lines are derived from normal embryonic lung tissue at 3 months of gestation. This cell line is the first human diploid cell line for human vaccine preparation. The addition of TNF alpha to the culture solution can promote cell growth. The STR identification in this library is correct.
