描述

The continuous cell line K-562 was established by Lozzio from the chest water of a dying 53-year-old female patient with chronic myeloid leukemia. Cells are classified as highly undifferentiated granular leukocytes. Anderson et al. studies of the properties of their surface membranes show that K-562 is a human erythropathic cell. The K-562 cell line is widely used as a highly sensitive in vitro receptor in natural kill analysis. See Pross et al. use it for detailed in vitro detection of NK cells, including mathematical quantification of NK cell activity. K-562 mother cells are pluripotent, hematopoietic malignant cells, which can spontaneously differentiate into recognizable red blood progenitor cells, granulocytes, monocytes, etc. It is EBNA negative. Mycoplasma tests in this library. The STR identification in this library is correct.
